History of the Al Perlini Memorial Tournament

Photo of Al PerliniIn 1987 Al Perlini established the Warminster Travel Soccer Tournament.  As the story goes, Al wanted to create a fun and competitive pre-season tournament where local teams and their families can enjoy spending Labor Day weekend together.

Al's efforts helped to establish the foundation for our boys and girls to be able to compete against other local clubs with less travel time and more smiles.  In 1991, the tournament was re-named in honor of Al Perlini.

Our tournament started small, but has grown year after year.  In 2015, we hosted 289 teams on 25 fields.

We are always finding ways to improve.  We would like to thank everyone who has helped make this annual event such a huge success for over 30 years and counting!
