History of the Al Perlini Memorial Tournament

Photo of Al PerliniIn 1987, Al Perlini established the Warminster Travel Soccer Tournament.  As the story goes, Al wanted to create a fun and competitive soccer tournament that would allow local soccer teams and their families to enjoy Labor Day weekend together.

Al's efforts helped establish the foundation for our boys and girls to be able to compete against other clubs with less travel time and more smiles.  In 1991, the tournament was re-named in honor of Al Perlini.

The tournament started small and has grown year after year.  In 2015, we hosted 289 teams on 25 fields throughout Warminster township.

We are always finding ways to improve.  We would like to thank everyone who has helped make this tournament a huge success for over 30 years and counting!
